Tutorial - TITAN - Les vérins pour les pieds / Jacks for the feet

j'ai réussi à trouver des tubes en carte plastique dans un magasin de modélisme près de chez moi pour mon plus grand bonheur. J'ai continué la construction du titan en lui ajoutant des vérins.
I succeeded in finding tubes in plastic chart in a store of model making close to at home for my greater happiness. I continued the construction of Titan by adding jacks to him.



j'ai coupé 2 tubes de diamètre différent et j'ai coupé en biais le plus gros pour l'assemblage contre le pied.
I cut 2 tubes different diameter and I crossed in the largest skew for the assembly against the foot.





J'ai oublié avant l'assemblage de mettre un détail sur la pièce. Ce n'est pas grave, au contraire, car cela m'a permis de coller cette pièce facilement et de ne pas gêner les vérins car j'ai peu de place sur la base du pied et la base des vérins pour un décalage (cercle en rouge) et pour le long des doigts de pieds (cercle vert).
I forgot before the assembly to put a detail on the part. It is not serious, on the contrary, because that enabled me to stick this part easily and not to obstruct the jacks because I have little place on the basis of foot and the base of the jacks for a shift (circle in red) and for along the toes (green circle).



J'ai coupé un tube et j'ai sectionné une partie pour coller et clipser sur les vérins existants.
I cut a tube and I divided a part to stick and clipser on the existing jacks.



Cela ne choque pas quand on regarde globalement le pied.

Après je peux continuer le travail des détails en mettant des flexibles et des axes comme sur la photographie et des rivets.

Tutorial - TITAN - Rotules / Kneecaps

J'ai décidé de vous montrer comment j'ai fait les rotules du titan, les matériaux utilisés et comment procéder.

Tout d'abord j'ai utilisé :
- une tige de laiton ou fil de fer rigide
- un cylindre en balsa
- une pièce en résine ou une pièce originale (roue d'un char par exemple)
- de la super glue
- une pince coupante
- une lime plate

I decided to show you how I made the kneecaps of Titan, the materials used and how to proceed.
First of all I used:
- a brass stem or rigid wire
- a balsa cylinder
- a resin part or an original part (wheel of a tank for example)
- super glue
- cutting pliers
- a flat file



Après avoir limé ma pièce en résine, j'ai coupé un bout de cylindre en balsa pour que les pièces de résine avec le cylindre soient de la largeur de la jambe.
After having filed my resin part, I cut an end of balsa cylinder so that the resin parts with the cylinder are width of the leg.

J'ai ensuite coupé 9 bouts dans la tige de métal (tout dépend de l'écartement entre les tiges) pour les coller ensuite sur le balsa.
I cut 9 ends in the metal stem (all depends on the spacing between the stems) to then stick them on the balsa.



Je n'ai pas collé sur toute la surface car dans les parties cachées on ne voit pas les tiges.
I did not stick on all surface bus in the hidden parts one does not see the stems.



Après, je colle la pièce sur la partie de la jambe (ou la percer pour la renforcer avec des tiges en métal).
